Yoga

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to practice and teach different styles of yoga, which has allowed me to expand and diversify my knowledge. This experience enables me to adapt each class to the unique rhythm and needs of every person guiding sessions that range from dynamic and intense flows to slower and more restorative practices.

But it’s not only the yoga practice itself that gives depth to my classes. The integration of elements learned through other physical disciplines such as high-performance training and my background as a dancer also serves as a foundation and a source of inspiration and insight.

A clear example of what I mentioned earlier is the integration of the basic concepts of Active Global Stretching® into yoga practice. These principles help us understand, from a global and healthy perspective, how to lengthen and stretch the body safely without injury while progressively increasing flexibility day by day.

An essential aspect of my classes, which I want to highlight, is the focus on breathing. Throughout the practice, conscious breathing is maintained as both a support for the postures and the central axis of the exercise itself. Pranayamas and other breathing techniques help to bring awareness and flexibility to our entire respiratory, muscular, and skeletal systems.

Undoubtedly, breathwork also contributes to keeping the mind calm and focused, and over time, with consistent practice, it can help reduce levels of stress and anxiety. For all these reasons, I incorporate breathing techniques regularly as a fundamental tool in my classes.

In my yoga sessions, strength and flexibility are present throughout the entire class.

The goal of my classes is to bring all this knowledge into a mindful yoga practice one in which each person, according to their own needs and abilities, can develop new tools to learn, explore, and cultivate healthier movement patterns.
